Man, minor boy killed

KARACHI, Jan 29: Two persons, including a minor boy, were killed in separate incidents on Wednesday.

Police said that Mohammad Qadeer, aged 5, resident of Zia Colony in Site area, had been missing since Monday evening. His father, Shafeequr Rehman, had lodged an FIR on Monday night.

On Tuesday night, his body was found in an underground tank of a deserted plot in the locality.

Police said unknown people had killed the boy and dumped the body there on Tuesday.

The body was sent to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem. Police suspected personal enmity to be the cause for the killing.

KILLED: An elderly man was strangled in North Karachi on Wednesday. Unknown men barged in the house of 65-year- old Allahdin in Sector 5-B, North Karachi, and throttled him to death. No valuable was found missing from the house. The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem.
