KARACHI, Jan 29: Sindh Chief Secretary K.B. Rind has directed the concerned organizations to ensure completion of development schemes under the Khushhal Pakistan Programme (Phase IV) by June 30.

He issued the directive while presiding over a meeting in his office on Wednesday.

The Additional Chief Secretary (Finance), Fazlur Rehman, informed the meeting that an amount of Rs1 billion had been released for the phase-IV uplift schemes.

The meeting was told that a scientific procedure had been adopted for completing the schemes in an effective and transparent manner.

A strategy has also been chalked out for the constitution of the Sindh Revenue Authority as per decision of the provincial cabinet and that a presentation is being prepared to be given in the next cabinet meeting, it was stated.

The meeting took consideration of pension and benevolent funds, group insurance and other related matters.—APP
