Jahanzaib too strong for Irfan

KARACHI, Jan 25: Jahanzaib Khan began his campaign in style when he outclassed Irfan Khan in straight sets in the Under-18 boys championship on the opening day of the Westbury Open tennis championship played at Modern Club on Saturday.

In a totally one-sided affair Jahanzaib overwhelmed Irfan dropping just a point in each set.

According to tournament organizers 102 entries have been received and all the top players of the province are competing.

Mateen Arif bt Ahsan 6-3, 6-4; Ali Abdullah bt Naeem 6-3, 4-6, 7-5, Shahrukh Qureshi bt S.M. Naeem 6-3, 2-6, 6-3, Jahanzaib Khan bt Irfan Khan 6-1, 6-1.
