ISLAMABAD, Jan 23: The Insurance Division of Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan has established a website for providing information to the general public about almost all the aspects of insurance industry.

The website is: http:// secp.gov.pk/divisions/insurance.

As insurance sector occupies an important place in the country’s economy, an SECP source said, it was considered necessary to unify all data relating to insurance industry.

This website, he said, would go a long way in developing awareness about insurance sector among the masses and bring Pakistan at par with some of the other Asian countries.
