ISLAMABAD, Jan 22: The government on Wednesday granted a Petroleum Exploration Licence to Mari Gas Company Limited, a local company incorporated under the laws of Pakistan over Ziarat Block No. 2967-2 covering an area of 2443.9 sq km, located approximately 50 km East of Quetta in the Sulaiman fold belt in Balochistan.

Simultaneously, the Petroleum concession Agreement was also signed, said a press release issued by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources.—APP
