Sharjah Cup from April 1

SHARJAH, Jan 20: Pakistan will launch the defence of Sharjah Cup by playing South Africa in its first match on April 3 in a day and night tie at Sharjah ground, announced Cricketers Benefit Fund Series on Monday.

A match between Sri Lanka and South Africa will open the 10-day annual annual event.

Following are the draws of the three-nation tournament which ends on April 10.

April 1: Sri Lanka vs South Africa

April 2: Rest day

April 3: Pakistan vs South Africa

April 4: Pakistan vs Sri Lanka

April 5: Rest day

April 6: Pakistan vs South Afrcia

April 7: Sri Lanka vs South Afrcia

April 8: Pakistan vs Sri Lanka

April 9: Rest day

April 10: Final

Meanwhile, a CBFS official said the dates of the 2nd Morocco Cup, wil be played in the second week of August at Tangiers with leading teams taking part.—APP
