KARACHI, Jan 20: Four vessels carrying containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was relatively  slow where only three ships, Izumo, to unload and load containers, Kaghan to offload general cargo and Al-Maqwa to unload high speed diesel were berthed after the departure of four.

The ships, which departed included Ocean Luna, Jamila, Al-Cyonida and Della, while Emrald Sky, Sima Bahar, Izumo and al-Maqwa are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 64,910 tons comprising 30,461 tons of export cargo including 25,300 tons of molasses and 34,449 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Kota Intan, Sinar Bontang, Iron-D and APL Costarica, with containers.
