HYDERABAD, Jan 16: The controller of examinations, University of Sindh, on Thursday announced the names of students who took positions in semester examinations of B.Sc (hons), fresh water biology and fisheries, part-III, 2001-2002 session.

Tania Tariq, daughter of Tariq Hussain Minhas, secured first position, Muhsan Ali, son of Sarwar Ali Kalhoro, secured second and Shahidur Rehman, son of Noor Azam Khattak, secured third position.

MBBS EXAMS: The Liaquat University of Medical and Health Science, Jamshoro, has announced the first professional MBBS examinations of students of the university, Chandka Medical College, Larkana, and the People’s Medical College for Girls, Nawabshah, has been re-scheduled and will now commence from Feb 24.

SPSC: The Sindh Public Service Commission here on Wednesday announced the commission had found Dr Dileep Kumar, rural, eligible for the post of surgeon, BPS-18, in the health department.

The commission recommended his name to the Sindh government for appointment against the post.
