Electricity to Kharan district soon

By Our Staff Correspondent

QUETTA, Jan 12: The Central Information Secretary of the Balochistan National Movement (BNM), Dr Ishaq Baloch and member of the provincial assembly, Dr Shama Baloch, met Chief Minister, Jam Yusuf of Lasbela and apprised him of the impact of drought in Kharan District.

They also requested for the early provision of electricity to remote villages and door-to-door connections to the outskirts of Kharan Town also.

The chief minister issued orders in this regard and asked the concerned officials to release necessary funds for providing electricity in Kharan.

The CM also said that he would resolve the issues on priority basis when his attention was drawn to the dismissal of doctors on contract even after working for more than five years.

Later, Dr Ishaq Baloch told this correspondent that it was previous government’s unjust decision to remove doctors from jobs merely because they were on contract.

It is strange that the private organizations and companies are ordered to regularize their employees within six months and while the government kept its employees on contract for years.
