HYDERABAD, Jan 11: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement MPAs have criticized Hesco for issuing inflated and detection bills to consumers.
In a joint statement issued here, the Muttahida’s MPAs, Arshad Shah, Naeem Ishtiaq and Aslam Pervez, criticized the SDO, Sarfaraz sub-division, Hesco, for victimizing the consumers.
They said the consumers were dissatisfied with the performance of Hesco.
They said the anti-people attitude of the SDO had further added to the miseries of the consumers.
They urged the SDOs to change their attitude towards the people to improve the image of the company.
PAY SCALE: The All Pakistan Technical Draughtsmen Federation (APTDF) has said under the revised pay scale, 2001, the government has done away with the policy of allowing move-over and selection grades.
In a communication, addressed to the federal finance secretary (regulation), APTDF chairman Hafiz Matloob Ahmad Chishti said it had created frustration among government employees.
He said the career of government employees had been blocked in this way and they were made to suffer financial losses.
The new pay scale had also affected those employees, who had been given move-over five years back, he said.
Chishti appealed the authorities concerned to review the policy and restore the old system in respect of move-over and selection grades.
POLICEMEN FINED: The Regional Police Officer, Abdur Rauf Yousufzai, has imposed fines on several police officers on charges of irresponsible attitude towards public and dereliction of duties.
Yousufzai has imposed a fine of Rs2,000 on ASI Bashir Ahmed of the Hyderabad traffic police besides transferring him to Tharparkar district.
He also imposed a fine of Rs1,000 on the Head Muharrir of the Sakhi Pir police station, Munir Hussain Kolachi, and transferred him to Thatta district.
The SHO, Hussainabad, Masood Akhtar, and the SHO, GOR police station, Naeemuddin Siddiqui, were also fined Rs2,000 and Rs1,000, respec-tively.
