LAHORE, Jan 8: In a major administrative reshuffle on Wednesday, the Punjab government transferred and posted 22 administrative secretaries, district coordination officers and additional secretaries.

Punjab Information, Culture and Youth Affairs Secretary Shaukat Ali Shah was transferred and posted as member (consolidation) Board of Revenue, Punjab, Lahore, against a vacant post.

Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD), Punjab, Archives Director Taimur Azmat Osman was transferred and posted as Punjab Information, Culture and Youth Affairs Secretary vice Shaukat Ali Shah transferred.

Public Libraries, Punjab, Lahore Director-General Tariq Yousaf was transferred and posted as member (Judicial-III) Board of Revenue, Punjab, in his own pay and scale vice Liaquat Ali, who was directed to report to the S&GAD for further orders.

Punjab Zakat and Ushr Department Secretary Khwaja Muhammad Tariq was transferred and posted as senior member of the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team (CMIT), Punjab, vice Sibghat Mansoor, transferred.

CMIT senior member Sibghat Mansoor was transferred and posted as food department secretary vice Shahid Khan, transferred.

Punjab Food Department Secretary Shahid Khan was transferred and posted as director-general of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) relieving Muhammad Ismail Qureshi, Punjab Local Government and Rural Development Department, of the LDA DG additional charge.

Auqaf Chief Administrator Shafique Husain Bokhari was transferred and posted as Punjab Zakat and Ushr Department Secretary vice Khwaja Muhammad Tariq, transferred.

Punjab Kutcha Abadis Director-General Muhammad Javed Iqbal Awan was transferred and posted as Auqaf Chief Administrator vice Shafique Husain Bokhari, transferred.

Punjab Mineral Development Corporation Managing Director Kamran Lashari was transferred and posted as Parks and Horticulture Authority, Lahore, relieving him of the additional charge.

Punjab Social Welfare Department Director-General Muhammad Ayub Qazi was transferred and posted as Mineral Development Corporation DG vice Kamran Lashari, transferred. Punjab Education Department (schools) Special Secretary Ijaz Ali Zaigham was transferred and posted as Punjab Social Welfare Department director-general vice Muhammad Ayub Qazi transferred.

Punjab Higher Education Department Special Secretary Rafia Nazir was transferred and posted as chairman of the Minimum Wages Board, Punjab, against a vacant post.

Officer on Special Duty in the S&GAD Nazir Saeed was posted as Punjab Higher Education Department special secretary vice Rafia Nazir transferred.

OSD in the S&GAD Capt Muhammad Ali Gardezi (retired) was posted as Punjab Kutcha Abadis director-general vice Muhammad Javed Iqbal Awan, transferred.

DCO Gujrat Capt Agha Nadeem (retired) was transferred and posted as Punjab Education Department (schools) special secretary vice Ijaz Ali Zaigham, transferred.

OSD in the S&GAD Muhammad Ahsan was posted as DCO, Chakwal, vice Zubair Masud transferred.

DCO Chakwal Zubair Masud was transferred and posted as S&GAD archives director vice Taimur Azmat Osman, transferred.

OSD in the S&GAD Lt-Cdr Hamid Ali Khan (retired) was posted as DCO, Rawalpindi, vice Sqn Ldr Amjad Ali Toor (retired), transferred.

DCO, Rawalpindi, Sqn Ldr Amjad Ali Toor (retired) was transferred and posted as Punjab Population Welfare Department additional secretary against a newly created post.

Punjab Health Department Additional Secretary Rashida Malik was promoted to BPS-20 and upon promotion transferred and posted as secretary (regulations)/director-general (O&M) S&GAD, relieving Punjab Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Department secretary Ejaz Ahmad of the additional charge.

OSD in the S&GAD Mehr Muhammad Nawaz was promoted to the rank of secretary to the Punjab government/equivalent posts and upon such promotion posted as DCO, Sahiwal, against a vacant post.

The Punjab government has cancelled the transfer and posting orders of OSD in the S&GAD, Muhammad Arshad Bhatti, as DCO, Sahiwal.
