KARACHI, Jan 7: The Institute of Bankers Pakistan is holding three courses on anti-money laundering — one each at Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad on January 13, 14 and 15 respectively.
The purpose is to update the knowledge and skill of front-line bankers and putting in place administrative and supervisory measures to curb money laundering, says an IBP press release.
Keith Willshire who is an experienced international banker and trainer from the UK has been invited to conduct these courses. He has 30 years of banking experience mainly with Barclays Group in the UK and the HSBC Group based in Hong Kong and UK.
