QUETTA, Jan 6: Four persons were killed and seven others injured in a head-on collision between a passenger wagon and a trailer on Quetta-Chaman Highway near Saranan, some 60kms north of here, late on Monday evening.

The victims were masons from Lodhran and were going to Afghanistan for work.

Their names are: Mohammad Iqbal, Ghulam Yasin and Mohammad Khalil.

The fourth person could not be identified.
