KARACHI: Elderly man shot dead

KARACHI, Jan 5: An elderly was shot dead in FC Area, Liaquatabad, in the early hours of Sunday.

Police said Saleemuddin, a resident of FC Area G-12/2, informed them that an elderly man was lying dead in a park.

According to the report lodged by Saleemuddin, an elderly man, identified as

Baba Abdul Rashid, aged 75, lived in a small park situated in front of his house in FC Area. On early Sunday morning he was found murdered in the park with a bullet wound to his head.

Quoting Saleemuddin, police said the elderly man was a “Pir Baba.”

Police sent the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem.
