KARACHI, Jan 5: City Government will organize a car rally from Karachi to Gadani to promote development activities in coastal areas of Sindh and Balochistan and highlight the beauty of this region.

This was stated on Saturday during a press conference by officials belonging to a committee set up in this regard. They stated that the rally was going to be first of its kind.

The rally will be held in two parts, they said. It will commence at 10am on Feb 2 from the mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam and terminate in the Gadani area, in District Lasbela. There a demonstration will be organized which will be attended by the Nazims of Karachi and Lasbela.

The officials were of the view that after such promotional projects chances of developmental activities improved in the area concerned. They said during their visits to the rally’s course they had come across certain beautiful spots that were breathtaking but almost unknown.—PPI
