RAWALPINDI, Jan 1: The Pakistan International Airlines Board here on Wednesday constituted a committee for the acquisition of seats for three recently-purchased Boeing 777 jets.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Board, which was presided over by Lt-Gen Hamid Nawaz Khan (retired).

The committee comprises Air Marshal Saleem Arshad (retired), Air Vice Marshal Niaz Hussain (retired) and Kamran Hassan.

“The committee would hold negotiations with various vendors to obtain economical pricing and without compromising the technical features and passenger comfort,” said a handout issued by the PIA.
