PESHAWAR, Dec 21: Taking strong notice of the complaints about recently issued transfer orders of Grade-5 to Grade-16 employees of the population welfare department, the NWFP minister for health and population welfare Inayatullah has immediately held in abeyance these orders and directed to initiate an enquiry in this regard.

In an order issued on Saturday, the minister has directed the transferred employees to continue their duties at their previous stations of posting till further order, said a handout on Saturday.

The minister has assured the employees that all postings and transfers would be strictly made on merit in the department.

Inayatullah has also vowed that victimization of government employees would not be allowed, so that employees could discharge their duties with complete mental peace.
