KARACHI: Workshop on globalization

KARACHI, Dec 13: A one-day workshop on “ Understanding Globalization” is to be held on Saturday ( Today) at 11am at Hotel Regent Plaza by the Women and Peace Development Association (WADA) and the Forum for Peace and Development, says a press release.

The speakers— Gulam Kibria, Rashid Rehman, Najma Sadiq and some others— will discuss what globalization means for Pakistan- a blessing or another yoke of neo-colonialism. The first session will be chaired by Dr Hamza Alvi.
