KARACHI, Dec 12: The first Haj flight will leave from Karachi for Jeddah on Jan 5.

A number of decisions were taken to provide maximum facilities to the Haj pilgrims going from Karachi at a meeting of the representatives of the departments concerned held at Bait-ul-Hujjaj here on Thursday.

The meeting reviewed the arrangements made so far and took decisions for providing greater support and facilities.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of PIA, Saudi Airline, the Customs, ASF, Railway, FIA, CAA, Post Office, Pak PWD, banks, health department, PTCL, Anti-Narcotics Force, local administration, city government and KESC.

The Director Haj, Manzoor Husain, briefed the meeting about facilitation arrangements made by the Haj Directorate. — APP
