WorldCall’s AGM on 24th

KARACHI, Dec 9: An Extraordinary General Meeting of the members of WorldCall Multimedia Limited would be held on December 24, to approve the merger of WorldCall Dot.Com (Pvt) Limited into the company.

WorldCall Dot.Com (Pvt) Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of WorldCall Multimedia Limited — one of the four companies to seek stock market listing during 2002.

According to a company announcement, the shareholders meeting of WorldCall Multimedia Limited scheduled on December 24 at the registered office of the company in Lahore, would consider and if thought fit, approve, adopt and agree to the Scheme of Arrangement for merger of the two companies. The company said that the shareholders’ approval would be subject to the completion of all formalities and sanction by the Lahore High Court.

The share transfer books of the company would remain closed from October 18 to December 24, 2002 (both days inclusive) for the Extraordinary General Meeting.
