KARACHI, Dec 8: As many as 81 vehicles — 19 cars and 62 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city in the past three days, police sources said.
Eleven cars and 36 motorcycles were hijacked/stolen on Eid day (Friday). Five cars were hijacked. Six others were stolen. Seventeen motorcycles were hijacked. Nineteen others were stolen.
On Saturday, three cars were hijacked and three others were stolen. Eight motorcycles were hijacked. Nine others were stolen.
On Sunday, two cars and nine motorcycles were either hijacked or stolen. One car was hijacked. Another was stolen. Three motorcycles were hijacked. Six others were stolen.
Police claimed to have recovered 12 cars and six motorcycles in the city.
