KU exam schedule for today

KARACHI, Dec 4: The semester examinations at the University of Karachi will be held as scheduled on Dec 5, registrar of the University said on Wednesday.

BA EXAMS: The University has notified that all those regular candidates who could not submit their examination forms and fees for BA and BSc (pass) annual examinations 2002 can now submit the same at their colleges.

The fee for BA and BSc part-1 or part-11 will be Rs1,200 (Rs675 exam fee, Rs25 sports and Rs500 late fee), while the fee for BA/BSc, both parts, will be Rs1,750.

The examination forms will be accepted from Dec 2 till the beginning of the exams.

ADMISSION LIST: The KU department of business administration has released the list of candidates selected for admission to BBA (honours) and MBA (morning) programmes in for the year 2003.

The closing percentage for BBA (honours) remained 54.67 and it was 53.87 for MBA programme. The admissions to BBA (honours) will be undertaken from Dec 10 to 12 and for MBA programme from Dec 12 to 14.

The candidates have been asked to bring their original documents at the time of fee payment.

MA RESULTS: The University on Wednesday declared the results of MA (external) final-year annual examinations 2001.

Ayesha Jadoon Rehman with 752 marks out of 1,000 clinched the first position, while Sabeen Kirran with 730 marks remained second. The third position went to Hazrat Ali who obtained 685 marks.

About 646 candidates had appeared in the exams, out of whom 322 were declared pass with a pass percentage of 49.85.—PPI/APP
