KARACHI, Dec 2: Three ships with furnace oil, chemicals and containers arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, says a PQA press release on Monday.

Six ships, Imperial-E, Atlantic Cavalier, Entalina, Camparo Pride, Maple Galaxy and Sea Magnolia were busy in loading/discharging wheat, fertilizer and edible oil, furnace oil, chemicals and iron ore respectively.

A cargo volume of 35,358 tons comprising 34,724 tons of import tonnage and 634 tons of exports cargo was handled.

Sailing was also active as three ships, Maple Galaxy, Entalina and Imperial-E sailed out.

Three ships, Panama Strength, New Toyokaze and Safmarine Victory were expected to take berths at Multipurpose Terminal and Qasim International Container Terminal respectively.
