Talks on for Benazir’s return: minister

ISLAMABAD, Dec 1: Negotiations are continuing at various levels to bring home PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto, said Defence Minister Rao Sikandar Iqbal on Sunday.

“I have no power, as I am a weak man, but struggle is on to bring her back,” the president of PPP-Patriots told newsmen at a reception hosted by Armenian Ambassador Dr Emil Ghituleseu on the national day of Armenia.

He said there was a strong possibility that Ms Bhutto’s demands might be accepted.

“I have not received any show-cause notice from the PPP leadership,” he said in response to a question.—APP
