PESHAWAR, Nov 29: In a ceremony held at the Central Police Office here on Friday, badges were pinned on the shoulders of Masood Ahmad Paracha as Additional Inspector General of Police Investigation.

NWFP Inspector General of Police Mohammad Saeed Khan and Deputy Inspector General of Police Headquarters Faqir Hussain decorated Paracha with badges of the AIGP Investigation.

The new post of AIGP Investigation has been created under the newly introduced Police Reforms which necessitated the posting of Paracha as AIGP Investigation.

Paracha, a grade 21 police officer, is the first to become the AIGP Investigation of the NWFP.
