KARACHI: Law & order reviewed


KARACHI, Nov 27: The obtaining law and order situation in the province came under review at a meeting held at the governor’s house with Governor Sindh Mohammedmian Soomro in the chair.

Home Secretary Sindh Mohammed Aslam Sanjrani, IG police Syed Kamal Shah, DG Rangers Maj-Gen Salahuddin Satti and other officials briefed the governor on the latest situation.

The governor called for meaningful steps for maintaining law and order and indiscriminate action against criminals and anti-social elements.

He issued directives for effective security arrangements on Eid- ul- Fitr and during pre- Eid shopping. He also took strong notice of motorcycles thefts, and said the culprits involved, should be brought to book no matter what.—APP
