KARACHI, Nov 20: The first session of the newly-elected Sindh Assembly will be held on Nov 25 when members of the provincial assembly will take oath.

This was decided at a cabinet meeting held here on Wednesday, official sources said.

The sources said elections of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly would be held on Nov 27.

The chief minister’s election would take place on Nov 28 and the chief minister would take oath on Nov 29, the sources said.

A formal notification in this connection will be issued on Thursday.
