Ghias and Jaffar excel

KARACHI, Nov 20: Ghiasuddin and Jaffar Qureshi excelled with the bat as Rangers CC took revenge for their last week’s defeat at the hands of Malir Companion at KDA Ground here Tuesday.

Rangers CC’s seven-wicket success put them into the semifinals of the Justice Asghar Ali Shah Ramazan Trophy Cricket Tournament.

Ghiasuddin hit 51 with two sixes as Malir Companion made 145 for eight in 20 overs.

After taking three for 29 with his spinners, Jaffar Qureshi, the left-handed all-rounder, blasted four sixes on his way to 55 as Rangers reached 146 for three in 17 overs.
