FBISE annual exams of SSC from March 18

ISLAMABAD, Nov 20: The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual examinations of the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, will commence from March 18, 2003, says a press release here on Wednesday.

The last dates for receipt of admission forms in the board’s office with normal fee is December 16; with late fee of Rs100 January 15, with double exams fee upto February 15.

According to a notification of the Board the fee structure for SSC-I, science and humanities groups involving practical subjects, will be Rs225; for SSC-II, Rs275; for SSC composite, Rs385; for SSC-I humanities group Rs200, for SSC-II, Rs250; and for composite, Rs325.

The registration fee for fresh private candidates of SSC-I is Rs200. The fee for improvement of marks/grade is Rs150; for additional subject Rs300.

It further said if any candidate had appeared in the subjects involving practical and failed in any other subject, he/she will have to pay the examination fee of the group involving practical.

The board has asked the private/ex-candidates of the twin cities of Islamabad-Rawalpindi to send their fee by pay order/ bank draft or directly deposit in the board’s account through bank challan at the HBL, FBISE branch.

However, the Board has directed the candidates of other areas and institutions to send their fee through pay order/bank draft in favour of the controller of examinations, FBISE.

The notification further said change of subject would not be allowed after the submission of forms to the board office.

The candidates taking alternative subjects i.e. English advance, Geology of Pakistan, and Urdu Salees, have been asked to attach attested copy of the permission letter of the Board with their forms.

The board has clarified that the private would not be allowed to offer any group of subjects, which is not offered in any affiliated institution of the Board.

The candidates of Northern Areas have been directed to submit their forms to the FBISE sub-offices in Gilgit and Skardu.
