KARACHI: Bandits stab man to death

KARACHI, Nov 15: Bandits stabbed a man to death in his house in Gulzar-i- Hijri on late Thursday night.

Police said that four armed men barged into the house of Izatullah, aged 40, at Jamali Goth in Gulzar-i-Hijri police limits. They began collecting valuables after holding the occupants hostage. When Izatullah put up resistance to them, they stabbed him repeatedly and got away with valuables.

ROBBERIES: Four robberies were committed in the city on Friday, police said.

Armed men took away Rs30,000 from a house in Sharifabad. Police said complainant Zafar Iqbal lodged an FIR at Sharifabad police station that unidentified men barged into his house got away with the amount.

Jehangir lodged a complaint at Quaidabad police station that three bandits barged into his house and got away with Rs15,000.

Kamal lodged a complaint at Samanabad police station that two unidentified men robbed him of Rs22,875 and valuables.
