KARACHI: Man, woman die of burns

KARACHI, Nov 11: A young man and a woman died of burns on Monday.

Police said that Naheed, wife of Shahnawaz, had suffered burns in her house in Hub. She was admitted to the burns ward at Civil Hospital on Oct 2. She died in the hospital on Monday.

A young man, Basit, aged 20, died in the burns ward at Civil Hospital. He suffered burns in his house in Mochko and was admitted to the hospital on Oct 4.

DIES: A young man died when he fell from the rooftop of a multi-storey building in Gulzar-i-Hijri Monday.

Police said that Naseer, aged 30, an Afghan national, was fixing a wire on the rooftop of Al-Asif Square when he fell to the ground and died.

His family members declined to have any legal formalities, police said.
