ISLAMABAD, Nov 7: Strong coordination between bar and bench is must for the quick and easy dispensation of justice to the masses, said Chaudhry Asad Raza, District and Session Judge Islamabad on Thursday.

He was speaking at a reception, organized by the Islamabad Bar Association soon after taking charge of his office.

Judiciary, the judge said, was bound to provide easy and quick justice to the people and there should be no hurdle in dispensation of justice. “I always discharged my professional duties with complete honesty and dedication and I expect the same from my colleagues and lawyers as well. I will not let the people to be ruined in courts and they will get justice”, he added.

“We must use our good offices for the glory of rule of law and remove all barriers and hurdles in the way of easy dispensation of justice” Mr Raza said adding he has made arrangements to dispose of cases of ordinary nature including guardianship and family suits. These cases, he said, would be settled immediately in order to avoid any sort of botheration to the people.

He said due to shortage of judges huge number of cases were pending in the courts and called upon the judges and lawyers to use their efforts in decreasing this burden. He also urged them to join hands for the immediate disposal of the cases of harsh nature like murder and other civil suits.

In his welcome address the president, Islamabad Bar Association, Ishtiaq Ahmed Raja, assured the newly-appointed district and sessions judge that the lawyers would cooperate with him in dispensation of justice.

He also urged for cordial relations and cooperation between bar and bench and said it is necessary for the betterment of judicial system as well as for easy and quick dispensation of justice.
