Rs8.8m Zakat distributed

NAROWAL, Nov 7: A sum of Rs8.8 million has been distributed among 5,870 deserving people by the Zakat and Ushr department, Narowal district.

This was stated by Zakat and Ushr department’s district officer Nadeemul Ghani here on Thursday.

He said an amount of Rs4.2 million was distributed in Narowal tehsil and Rs4.6 million in Shakargarh tehsil.

STRIKE: Teachers in the Narowal district observed a strike against the formation of BoGs in the educational institutions.

They vowed to continue the protest strike till the acceptance of their demand. — Correspondent
