PESHAWAR, Nov 5: Some unidentified burglars deprived an engineer, who works for PTV Peshawar Centre, of cash, vehicle and other valuables from the residence at gunpoint late on Monday night.

Rafique Ahmad said that his family was in the house when about a dozen armed men barged in. In the FIR lodged with Pishtakhara police station, he said that the burglars tied up the entire family, including children, with ropes before they started collecting valuables.

He said they decamped with 10 tolas of jewellery, Rs300,000, a television set and other electronic appliances in his official vehicle bearing the No.A 0255.
