7 teachers, three SDOs suspended

LARKANA, Oct 31: The district Nazim and the DCO, during their surprise visit of different schools in Kambar taluka on Thursday, suspended seven teachers and three sub-divisional education officers.

These unannounced visits were made after the district government received reports about the negligence of duty by the teachers and education officials, Khursheed Junejo, the district Nazim, told this correspondent.

The seven teachers were found absent during the visit of six schools in Kambar and Bair Sharif areas, he said.

The SDOs were suspended for not visiting schools, the Nazim said.

Meanwhile, the, DCO, Larkana, on Wednesday suspended the SDO (boys) of Warah sub-division for not visiting schools and not supervizing the performance of the school management committees (SMCs), he said.
