KARACHI, Oct 31: Alumni Directory 2002 of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi was launched at a ceremony held at a local hotel on Thursday.

Federal finance minister Shaukat Aziz was to be the chief guest at the function, but could not come due to a busy schedule.

In his absence, M.A. Lodhi, chairman and chief executive of the National Insurance Company Limited, performed the launching of the Alumni Directory.

Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted the role being played by the IBA Karachi for imparting professional education and inculcating among its students the spirit of discipline.

The Directory contains the names of over 4,000 students who have done MBA since the inception of the institute in 1955, and some 1,000 who have completed their BBA since then.—APP
