TOULOUSE, Oct 30: European aircraft manufacturer Airbus won a deal to supply up to 240 new planes to British budget airline EasyJet, beating US rival Boeing to the biggest single aircraft order so far this year, says a Press release.
The planes are to be introduced through EasyJet’s base in Geneva, joining 64 Boeing 737 aircraft already in service, and the airline believes that it will bring substantial savings compared to buying additional B737-700s.
