KARACHI, Oct 30: Three ships, including a wheat loader and an oil tanker with palm oil, are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity was active as all the new arrivals were allotted berths soon after their signals from the outer anchorage. They are: Chitral, Sinar Bontang, APL Cairo and Kota Berani, which unload and load containers.

Four ships, Kota Waris, Dainty River, BiBi-M and Mohawk departed, while Banglar Kallol, Sorena, Babur Kapitan, APL Cairo, Thor Master and Al-Mariyah are due to sail out on Thursday.

Berth occupancy was maintained on the higher side at 67 and 68 per cent both at the oil piers and dry berths thanks to steady berthing and sailing of ships.
