ATTOCK: Passengers looted

ATTOCK, Oct 29: Highway robbers deprived the passengers of a Lahore-bound bus of cash and ornaments worth thousands of rupees at gunpoint on Monday night.

The bus (LXC-6955) had reached near Kamra when a passenger wearing Burqa stood up and forced the driver to take it on a link road. His three armed accomplices entered the bus and ordered the passengers to hand over money and other valuables. They also snatched ornaments from women. The four robbers fled. Hazro police have registered a case.—APP
