KARACHI, Oct 28: A dashing unbeaten knock of 117 by Mohammad Zafar, enabled Mohammad Hussain CC register an easy nine-wicket triumph over Cantt Sports in the Shaheen Gymkhana Zone III Super League cricket tournament Saturday.

Winning the toss and batting first Cantt Sports scored 211 for the loss of six wickets in their 35 allotted overs through Shazad Chowdry (70), Rafiq-ur-Rehman (47), Tariq Mehmood (37) and Yaqoob (33). Left-arm spinner Aqeel Sharif bagged two wickets for 34.

Chasing 212 for victory, MHCC reached the winning target in 24.2 overs losing only one wicket. Mohammad Zafar in fine form lasted 18 boundaries and one six in his unbeaten 117.
