KARACHI: Adulterators warned

KARACHI, Oct 28: City Nazim Naimatullah Khan has asked the factories which produce edible items; wholesalers and retailers to improve the quality of their items before the advent of Ramazan.

He cautioned the units of edible oil and ghee not to sell substandard and adulterated items.

The staff of city government’s health department confiscated a large quantity of substandard edible oil which was being produced in a factory in Site.

The factory was raided by a special team, which seized four drums (about 750 litre), edible oil. The Nazim appreciated the performance of the staff.—APP
