AIOU services lauded
QUETTA, Oct 27: President Pervez Musharraf welcomed holding of Allama Iqbal Open University convocation in Quetta and said it reflected the acceptance and success of its educational programmes in the province.
In a message on the eve of the sixth convocation of the university here Sunday, he lauded the services of the AIOU and declared its establishment the most successful of all the steps so far taken in the country to overcome backwardness in the field of education.
He appreciated the AIOU for introducing a new approach to education and facilitating the people, specially of the remote areas.—APP
