KARACHI: More projects for KPP-IV promised

KARACHI, Oct 27: More development projects would be included in the fourth phase of the Khushhal Pakistan Project (KPP) to bridge the gap between the urban and the rural areas.

This was stated by Sindh chief secretary K.B. Rind here on Saturday. He was talking to a delegation of social workers.

He said that under the Village Electrification Project, 184 villages were being provided electricity, work in 102 villages had been completed and in 82 projects the work was expected to be completed soon.

The delegation complained of the inconvenience caused to the public travelling between Karachi and Hyderabad via the Super Highway. The chief secretary told the delegation that a similar complaint was made to him by the Hyderabad district Nazim. He assured the delegation that their problems would be solved soon.—APP
