LAHORE, Oct 24: A French trade delegation comprising industrialists and businessmen will visit Pakistan during first quarter of next year to explore the opportunities for boosting Franco-Pak economic ties.

“Most probably, they are visiting this country in February or March next year,” said French Commercial Counsellor in Islamabad, Jean Barbe while addressing executive committee members of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) here on Thursday.

He said that Pakistani businessmen should consult with the Pak-France Business Alliance (PFBA) for any trade delegation to France.

Responding to a question regarding the collaboration between two countries in the field of agro-based business, he said that an expert from France will visit Pakistan during the second week of December to discuss the ways for cooperation in the fields like sugar, dairy, canning and packaging and fisheries.

He said that the expert accompanied by French diplomats will visit Lahore on Dec 10.—APP
