Health minister of Sindh dismissed

KARACHI, Oct 23: Sindh Governor Mohammadmian Soomro on Wednesday dismissed Provincial Minister for Health and Population Welfare Ahsan Ahmed with immediate effect.

The action has been taken against him due to his “inefficiency, favouritism, partisan attitude and corrupt practices.”

Earlier, he was repeatedly advised to act according to the oath of the minister, but he failed to abide by the directives of the governor.

In this regard, an inquiry against the malpractice, corruption and irregularities had already been initiated six to eight weeks ago against him.—PPI
