Malaysians offered joint ventures
LAHORE, Oct 23: Private sector of Pakistan and Malaysia on Wednesday agreed to further promote and strengthen bilateral trade between the two countries and explore new avenues for future investments in different sectors.
Talking to a delegation of Malaysian traders, president, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Iftikhar Ali Malik, said that there is a great scope of co-operation between the private sectors of the two countries adding that they should undertake joint projects in the re-construction of Afghanistan as well as jointly explore vast opportunities in Central Asian States, he said.
He said China and Middle East especially Pakistan, being fully aware of the geographical, social, cultural and prevailing economic condition in Afghanistan are most suitable business partner for Malaysian companies to provide them access to Afghanistan.
He invited Malaysian traders to invest in the infrastructure projects in Pakistan.
