Eight booked for EC code violation

JHANG, Oct 22: Eight people have been booked for violation of Election Commission’s code of conduct during the campaign of independent candidate banned Sipah-i-Sahaba Pakistan chief Maulana Azam Tariq.

Jhang City police registered a case against union councils Nazimeen Bashir Ahmad

Shakir, Iftikhar Ali and Muhammad Arif Zaman, Naib Nazimeen Muhammad Ayub, Muhammad Ramazan and Malik Munir, Muhammad Yousaf Ashiq and Master Saeed.

No arrests have been made so far.
