LAHORE, Oct 20: PML-Q leader Chaudhry Shujaat Husain would nominate his party’s candidate for the office of prime minister after consolidating the party position in provinces, sources said here on Sunday.

They said the announcement would be withheld also to ensure a better deal with other parties.

Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, the PML-Q secretary-general, is on the top of the list of candidates.

The party believes that it will form its government in Punjab and lead coalitions in Balochistan and Sindh. — Staff Reporter
