KARACHI, Oct 19: The Karachi University Examination Department on Saturday notified that the date of submission of registration and examination forms of B.A/B.Com/B.O.L and B.Sc, and Annual examination has been extended with late fees.
Registration forms can now be submitted from Oct 21 to 28 with late fees of Rs1,000. Candidates will have to pay Rs2,200, including the original fee of Rs1,200.
Examination forms, with late fees of Rs400, can be submitted from Oct 29 to Nov 4 with late fees of Rs600 from Nov 5 to 11. The original fee for part-I is Rs1,100, part-II Rs1,100 and for both part-I and II Rs2,200.
The change of subject will be allowed with the prescribed fee of Rs400 till Nov 11.
Registration forms will be available at the KU National Bank/United Bank Counters, Silver Jubilee Gate No 1. Forms will be endorsed by the Registration External Unit, examination counters at Silver Jubilee Gate No 1.
PHYSIOTHERAPY EXAM: The University on Saturday also notified the candidates of the School of Physiotherapy, JMPC/ LNH, that for second year B.S Physiotherapy/New Course (Batch 1999) supplementary examination 2002, the forms and fees will be accepted the latest by Oct 28.
The prescribed fee for examination/marks sheet is Rs1,650, and the sports fee Rs50.
BBA FORMS: The Department of Business Administration, University Of Karachi on Saturday announced that the last date for submission of admission forms for BBA (Hons.) has been extended up to Oct 24.
CONVOCATION: The last date for the submission of application forms and fees for attending Convocation 2002 has been extended up to Oct 24, a press release said.
It added that forms and fees can be submitted in the camp office opened at Silver Jubilee Gate No 1, Main University Road to deal with candidates who wish to attend the Convocation.
HOLIDAY: Karachi University and its affiliated colleges shall remain closed on Tuesday Oct 22, (15th Shaban, 1432) on account of Shab-i-Barat, a press release said.
The scheduled examinations of the University, if any, shall remain unchanged.—PPI/APP
