Murder case lodged

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Oct 12: A murder case was lodged against Sardar Usman Almani on Saturday.

He has been charged of the murder of a PPP worker, Soomar Khokhar.

The case was lodged by another PPP activist Ghulam Nabi Sehto at Munith police station in Kandiaro taluka.

The PPP workers was shot dead on election day at the Munith police station.

A shutter-down strike was observed by the shopkeepers in Munith on Saturday to mourn the PPP worker’s death.

Meanwhile, about 150 PPP workers and relatives of the deceased took out a rally.

Those who spoke on the occasion, included Khan Mohammad Khokhar, Shamsuddin Pirzado, Lal Bux Almani, and Sajan Mangnejo.

They called for immediate arrest of Usman Almani, Lakhmir Almani, Imtiaz Almani and Mujahid Almani, who were nominated in the FIR.
